Light & Shadow

With a team of 6 members, the idea was to design a space pavillion bace on one client's interest/ personalities/ character. Chosen client - Claudia (one of the team members). Claudia is in need of a calming space to feel and live in the theme of nature.

Concept chosen - ' Light and shadow '. Derived from the context nature, based on client's interest and needs in having her own calming and relaxing space. Designed space provide client to controll the intensity and direction of the light and shadow by sliding the designed cuboids forming the entire wall of the space pavillion, allowing client to interact with her own designed space, based on her needs , requirements nor interest to the designed pavillion.

Using cardboard models and glueless joining methods, develope the understanding in creating stability in design while enhancing and develope creative minds.

Design outcome is to :-

Understand the use of (body, movement, activities & space

Explore the notions of scale and proportion

Explore form thru personality, mood and personal expression.

Design an expression of self through a pavillion.

Understand & apply elements & principles of design
