Final project of architectural studio I, ' HIDE OUT '

Required task is to design a self space attaching to walls/ surfaces of buildings in an 'imaginary city' .

The space is to fit a specific use, based on one's personality or character.

Intentionally, the idea designed is a piece of representative architecture , representing the respected user of the building. Adapting and extracting the dominant characteristic of user which is how user appears to be weak on the outside and how it grows stronger and stronger as people start to know well.

Concept chosen - Metamorphosis : a biological process of change/ development of an insect

eg : caterpillar blooming into a butterfly

From the concept stated above, the idea of the growth and development is extracted and transform into the growth of triangular shapes into form. From a piece of triangular plane, combining with another plane in becoming two planes, and then three planes, four planes, becomes stronger and stronger.

intentionally, as people walk through the entire space, the triangles forming the building start to grow, become stronger by getting more solid and decrease in sizes as it goes upper which leads to complexity and to represent the growth from weak to strength.
